Within Light a shadow lies
Within Dark salvation
Within my heart despondency

When Night embraces me, darkness hugs me,
pain enfolds me, hurt enraptures me,
I find that living life is nothing
but a paralyzed dream.
Within Hope despair is hidden
Within Anguish joyfulness
Within existence mortality

Within Glory treason lingers
Within Praise malediction
Within my soul dejection

When Night embraces me, darkness covers me,
distress entwines me, woe apprizes me,
I find that living life is nothing
but a paralyzed dream.
My dream of life was shattered
Within the light of hope
My feelings lost and scattered
There is no binding rope
When numbness calls from graveyards
I feel like I'm there
With all the other cowards
It is too much to bear!
Breaking my shell of hatred
Breaking my loathing heart
Throwing what I held sacred
Into your shopping cart.
