Welcome dear readers and Death Note fans,

I have decided to try writng a Death Note fanfiction in english and I hope you enjoy this prologue as much as I enjoyed writing it. It was really fun and a great experience. Currently I am already working on the next chapter, but before I start writing more, I would like to know if you would be interested to read more.

If there was such a thing as fate, it was not very funny. She had not wanted any of this. Not mostly anyway. Yes, she had wanted the love, and yes, she had wished to protect her loved ones with all her heart. But she had not wanted the despair, the helplessness. She had just wished to protect. Even if it meant to protect them from themselves. Even if it meant to sacrifice.
