You laughed, you took my hands, you loved me. Your lips would smile along with your eyes. I was the one always needing a crutch and somewhere along the road you became mine. Sometimes, now, when I reminisce I still refuse to believe that all of that was faked. It would mean that you were mortal, not as strong as we believed you to be. It would mean that I never really knew you. That all of the happiness you gave me was something you never had yourself. It would mean that I could never forgive myself. Was I selfish?
