Hikaru MaiwaMeaning: Dancing fire Age: 14 Transforms to: Black guardian, dark flame angel Henshin phrase: Burning heart, break up! Attack: Dark flame shoot! (Shoots an arrow of flames)
Hikaru is the main character in the story. She is a half-demon, because her mother Hitomi is a demon and her father Heiji was a human (after Hikaru's birth, Hitomi killed him). There's a long story about Hikaru's past and how Hoshi was created, so I'll try to make it short. Hikaru lives in the human world to gather magical energy from humans who have it, so she could save Hoshi from death. Inside Hoshi's body there is a lot of dark energy that slowly destroys her from inside. Hikaru is the only one who can gather energy from humans, so she's doing that to connect both magical and dark energy to create crystals and free Hoshi's body from the powerful dark energy.
Hikaru loves her sister very much and is ready to do everything for her. She has a huge amount of love inside her, but she can't show it because of her mother.

Hoshi is a very cheerful and happy young girl. She's full of energy and love, being the best little sister for Hikaru. But this is possible only because she doesn't remember anything about her past till the age of 7. That's because Hikaru asked her mother to do so, promising to find the magical energy from humans to become an absolute demon. And Hikaru didn't want Hoshi remember all the terrible things that mother did to her, all about demons and their world. She wanted Hoshi to be a normal human girl with a loving family. And so she is now... She enjoys her life as a human and so does Hikaru when Hoshi is around. Hikaru smiles only in front of Hoshi, because she has lost all her emotions because of stealing magic energy and because of her mother who keeps beating up her. But she doesn't want Hoshi to know that, so she always keeps smiling in front of Hoshi, making her think that everything is alright.
Iwa MaiwaMeaning: Dancing rock Age: 30 Transforms to: Black guardian, dark rock angel Henshin phrase: Strong land, break up! Attack: Heavy rock booster! (Makes rocks fly)
Iwa was created by Hikaru's dark rock crystal, that's why she's faithful to her and carries about her a lot. She loves both Hikaru and Hoshi, but she appeals much more to Hikaru, as her creator and master, though Hikaru never let her call herself a master because of Hoshi. Iwa is married (kinda) with Enmu and loves him very much.
Iwa is a house woman, she doesn't have a job, she does all the chores at home: she cooks, cleans, waters the flowers etc. And she really likes that, because she knows that she can be there for her daughters if anything happens.
She is a very kind and generous person. Although she's a demon, she loves the human world and respects them. Very offten she concernes about Hikaru after she got beaten up, but she always says that it's alright with a smile on her face. Though Iwa sees in her eyes that she's hurt not only on the outside, but also on the inside, but she doesn't dare to say anything to her master...
Enmu MaiwaMeaning: Dancing fog Age: 31 Transforms to: Black guardian, dark mist angel Henshin phrase: Fog mirage, break up! Attack: Mist fusion break! (A fog tornado)
Also Enmu was created by Hikaru, with her dark fog crystal. And just like Iwa, he considers Hikaru as his creator and master. Enmu is married with Iwa and loves his wife very much.
Enmu works as a weather forecaster in a news agency, as he has the dark fog crystal, Hikaru advised him to work there, so he can contact with many people and give information about them to Hikaru. And he really enjoys to be a weather forecaster, 'cause it's his element ^_^
Enmu is very kind and loves both of his daughters, he always help them if they need anything and always allows everything even if Iwa said no :D
