| Na endlich, wurde auch langsam mal Zeit nach den ständigen Wiederholungen! Hört sich ganz interessant an. Aber Deutsche Synchro? Na ja, ich weiß nicht so recht, wenn ich da an Armitage oder Aika denke..... Egal, will mal nicht meckern, Hauptsache, eine Free-TV Premiere, das ist doch schon mal was nach den zig Wiederholungen, da werd´ ich die Synchro wohl auch noch überleben, auch, wenn ich Untertitel vorziehen würde ^^' |

| Nun, bevor alle gleich auf die Knie sinken und ACOG für dieses göttliche Geschenk danken, hier mal ein anderes Review über dieses durch und durch Hentai-Premiere: == MIDNIGHT PANTHER (2-teilige OVA Serie; ca. 60 Min) Through their US Manga Corps division, Central Park Media has co-produced MD Geist II: Death Force and now, Midnight Panther. It's a damn good thing that this company is good at marketing, because if this is the crap they are investing money in, I can't imagine this company being around much longer. It's not enough that they release garbage, but to add insult to injury, they do it BADLY. The "Pussycats" are kind of a Josie and the Pussycats on BAD drugs. Crappy idol singers by day they might be, but by night, these horny bimbos are slutty hit-men that a) screw their targets, b) kill them, and c) turn into a cat and eat them. As if this wasn't lame and tasteless enough, they try to make this a comedy. A SLAPSTICK comedy. Whee. The pussycats include mega-sluts Sonya and Kei, as well as the underdeveloped and undersexed (by their standards) Lou, who is sent after the lame dragon/monster/lizard jobs because she is thought incapable of seducing a man. The three are led by a grizzled old lady who regularly makes magic potions for various things, and also acts at their manager when they go on the road. Poor Lou can't get no respect, but all that changes in the second episode, when they go after the evil King Bad (!), who thought his brother died after he killed their parents and took over the throne by force (for some reason). That brother was really a sister, and it's Lou... so no wonder he can't get that face out of his mind! It's unclear just what Midnight Panthers wants to be. It has action, comedy, and hentai elements, but it's blisteringly unsuccessful in all three categories. There's no respectable element in the girls or their shriveled caretaker, nothing that makes them good or worthy of hope on the part of the viewer. In fact, since their practices border on cannbalism, they seem like pretty sick puppies! The result is something indescribably tasteless in its humor: we have a guy accidentally running into the cross of someone being crucified, conking his head with a bad cartoon sound effect and whining about it for a painfully long time, we have an incestual sex scene that ends with a french kiss with a disembodied head, and we have an ending that takes everything serious about the film and treats it like just another gag. And then Central Park Media has the nerve to call this "edited" (they couldn't possibly have taken out much) and slaps this with a 16+ (equivilant to an R) rating. With GRAPHIC sex scenes that last MINUTES long, there is no way this should be anything but an Anime 18 release. To prove just how powerful a creative talent is behind a show, this is by the same production company as "Kite", which we worshipped last month. The animation, therefore, is fairly good (as is the character design), but the artistic and creative values that Yasuomi Umetsu brought to the party in Kite are nowhere to be seen in this one. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Umetsu turned up his nose at even watching this. It's a good thing the Green Bunny/Arms companies have laurels to rest on, because they sure aren't producing anything award-winning here. In fact, I have to tip my hat to anyone that can sit through it. (Even An Fu, who came up with a respectable Jazz score for Kite, simply turned out stock Casio crap for this one.) As usual, the dubbing (produced by Merc) is simply unacceptable,with certain characters being so poorly acted (the old lady is fingers-on-chalkboard irritating) and the script being so poorly rewritten that any comic timing and charm the original may have had (unbelievable as it may seem) is totally obliterated. The post production, while better than some CPM releases, is also sub-par, as they can't even seem to figure out how to spell the manga artist's name! (Yu or Yuh Asagiri?) Frankly, this is the kind of material that makes me wonder just why I'm into anime in the first place. This film is so exceedingly wretched, so want of sensibility and creativity, that there won't be a worse release this year -- from any company. Midnight Panthers is about as bad as it can ever get. Grade = F (+ a lawsuit for throwing my back out) + The plot was so outrageously tasteless and sacriligious (not to mention just plain STUPID) that by the end I was jumping up and down in agony, burning lots of fat calories. - It's cheap, it's stupid, it's sick, and it's one of the worst dubs in recent memory. ====== Quelle: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/midnightpanther.php Und jetzt stell euch mal das Ganze mit einem Aaron-Dub vor. | Der Typ der englischen Review hat keine Ahnung. Midnight Panther ist kultig. Kam immer sehr gut an auf unseren kleinen Anime-Partys. |

| Na ja is niks für mich ... Is einfach nur Sex and Crime und das gefällt mir net... Na ja Agnet AIKa is voll Cool aber ich glaube gegen Midnight Panther is meine Liebe AIKa ne gute Nacht Geschichte. Ich wette ( wer will mitwetten *hihi* ) daas die Synchro von aaron films gemacht wird und Nina Marschke mindestens 1. Rolle besetzt. Ich finde die aaron Synchros von Wedding Peach und Agent AIKa eh immer noch unübertrefflich Cu chanichan-KUN |

| Nunja, mal abgesehen davon Helen McCarthy dir vermutlich das Gleiche geflüstert hätte, glaube ich kaum, dass Du willst, beim Gucken dieses Dings von deiner Eltern oder Freundin erwischt zu werden. ;-)) Und überhaupt, ACOG hat doch eine Menge vorzeigbare Titel, warum zum Geier greifen sie fast immer die schlimmsten auf (falls sie nicht mal wieder olle Kamellen vorschicken)? Hentai ist zwar schön und gut, aber muss das Ganze unbedingt ins TV, wo jeder Idiot den "Glanz und Gloria" dieser Animes bewundern kann? Wenn sie Werbung für ihre OVA18-Label machen wollen, dann sollten sie gefälligst einen Stammplatz bei der Beate-Uhse-Kanal abonnieren. Da werden zumindest keine falsche Erwartungen geweckt. Wenn ich schon höre, "Animation auf höchstem Niveau". Sorry falls das Ganze nach Meckerei anhört, es ist eine. ^__^ |

| Hmm..legen wir doch erstmal die Fakten auf den Tisch, bevor das ganze wieder in Hetzkampagnen ausarten: Es kommt ein Adult-Anime auf Vox, aus dem alle pornographischen Szenen entfernt sein MÜSSEN (das verlangt das Gesetz). Wenn das ganze nicht in deutscher Syncro käme, hätte ich ihn mir auch angeschaut. Ob die Sache Schund ist kann wohl keiner Beurteilen der ihn noch nicht gesehn hat, zumal es wiedersprüchliche Reviews gibt. Letzten Endes entscheidet wie immer der persönliche Geschmack. |

Es ist übrigens _keine_ Hetzkampagne, sondern nur ein Zeichen des Missmutes. Hättest Du als Fan nicht lieber, wenn sie statt diesem Hentai-Kram mal wieder ordentliche Anime bringen würde? P.S. Bitte lass das Ganze nicht zu einem Anti/Pro-Hentai-Thread ausarten. Ich habe von der Schlacht damals in der daani immer noch Albträume. ;-)) |

Ich habe von der Schlacht damals in der daani immer noch >Albträume. ;-)) Hmm..einen Tipp dazu: Einfach mal seine persönlichen Vorlieben nicht dauernd zum Thema machen, das ist meistens das Problem hierbei. Wenn du Hentai nicht magst, ist das eben so für dich, anhand von zwei sich wiedersprechenden Reviews sieht man das nicht jeder automatisch das so sieht. Wenn man Objektiv bleiben kann, dann hat man auch kein Problem mit der Ausstrahlung von sowas..um die Uhrzeit nähmlich, interessiert das in der Öffentlichkeit (Stichwort: Rufmord an Anime) keinen so richtig mehr was läuft. Anders ist da das Nachmittagsprogramm in RTL2, da siehts aber zur Zeit recht gut aus. |

| Ähh, wo habe ich geschrieben, dass ich persönlich kein Hentai mag? Hentai gehört für mich genauso zu Anime wie Sailor Moon, Evangelion oder SE Lain. Das heisst aber wiederum nicht, dass ich losgehe und versuche, diese Filme als intelligente, anspruchvolle Unterhaltung hinzustellen. Was mir auffällt ist, dass dieses Argument das gleiche war wie damals bei der Hentai-Thread in der daani. Nämlich dass alles doch subjektiv ist, was ich vollzustimme. Das ist hier aber nicht der Punkt. Der Punkt ist, dass ACOG aus einem Pool vorzeigbarer Anime bevorzugt die Titeln rauspicken, die a) hirnlose Action b) bare Titten beinhalten. Ob ich persönlich was dagegen habe, spielt keine Rolle. Es geht um die Frage, ob das das Bild von Anime ist, das man gern vermittelt bekommen würde (egal ob jetzt ein oder 1000 Menschen zuschauen) |

| LOL. So kann man das Thema natürlich auch vom Leib halten. Komisch, dass gerade die, die für Hentai sind, sich als die moralisch überlegendere glaubt. Aber um auf dein voriges Posting einzugehen: Du hast angedeutet, dass ich persönlich kein Hentai mag, und deshalb einen Kreuzzug starten will. Das muss ich ganz klar verneinen, denn erstens habe ich persönlich nichts gegen Hentai, mein persönliche Vorliebe kann aber auch nicht verhindern, dass mir ACOGs Ausstrahlungspolitik langsam auf den Sack geht. Schön, sie wollen was neues zeigen, warum nicht mal sowas wie "Spriggan" oder ihre neueingekaufte Serie "Angel Sanctuary"? Dagegen haben wir nun wirklich nichts. |
